Upsets and Comebacks: Mirage Elyandra’s run in LFL 2022 so far

League of Legends

The 2022 LFL season is well underway and Mirage Elyandra is already making waves by taking down some of the more established rosters. After being unsuccessful in their debut against LDLC OL, the Mirage Elyandra lineup was able to make a statement to the rest of the League as they overcame the Karmine Corp. in a nail-biter of a match.

The five players representing the Mirage Elyandra banner defeated the team led by European superstar AD carry Martin “Rekkles” Larsson in a comeback victory. After claiming the Dragon and eliminating Oskar “Raxxo” Bazydło, the Blue Wall delegates were looking to close the game out, but against all odds, Mirage prevailed against the defending champions.

After the showdown against KCorp, Mirage Elyandra was able to keep a 4-4 scoresheet. They were also able to vanquish another big franchise when they defeated BDS Academy in week 4.

The group was able to win matches through excellent team coordination, but the individual prowess of each member clearly also contributes to their success. For example, Liyu “Cody Sun” Sun leads every ADC in terms of KDA (Kills/Deaths/Assists) with a score of 8.89. The Canadian player also has two Player-of-the-Game awards to his name. Everyone on the Mirage Elyandra roster has shown great promise for the remainder of the season.

Mirage Elyandra will try to bounce back after their most recent loss to Gamers Origins when they face off against Gameward on Feb. 9 as LFL 2022 continues.
